Let me introduce myself; I am Alfred Scott Hash/Grieshaber/ Grandson of Maud Green Blue. I had the opportunity to live with my grandparents 1939 till the summer of 1949. I did receive a lot of first hand genealogy from them during this period. I had just completed my freshman year in high school when I went to California. My Grandfather was sixty seven and my grandmother was fifty seven in 1939.
I will attempt to transcribe, verbatim, Maude's hand written autobiography.
Writing this will not be easy for I will attempt to copy this in her words and spelling. The original was done on a "25 cent tablet" and when the paper ran out so did the biography. |
